Italian-American restaurant, Soho.
We’re an independent, family-run restaurant in Central London, serving pasta, pizza, and Italian-American classics.
Our menu connects the dots between our Sicilian family roots and New York, celebrating the Italian food we grew up eating, and dishes with an American influence.
To accompany, we have hand-picked a selection of wines, and offer signature cocktails, draught beer, and a range of no and low-alcohol options.
Our food
Our menu is focused on home-style Italian cooking.
Our pasta sauces are all prepared by hand and in-house, while our meatballs are made to a third-generation family recipe.
Fancy a pizza in Soho? Ours are made to order, with 48-hour fermented dough, which is topped with both fresh and imported Italian ingredients.
Other popular dishes include the chicken parm, mozzarella sticks, and the big Caesar salad.
The dessert menu is short and sweet, with a choice of either a classic Italian tiramisu or a New York blueberry cheesecake — both are made each morning by our mother.
Our drinks
We offer a full range of low and no alcohol drinks, while our experienced bartenders are on hand to prepare classic and signature house cocktails.
We have an extensive wine list, which includes classic Italian, modern, and organic, and includes reds, whites, rosé and orange.
We serve beer on tap, which is brewed in South London by our friend Pete at Forest Road Brewery.

Pre-theatre meal
Our location makes Grasso a great spot for a pre-theatre meal. We’re a short walk from Theatreland and close to Shaftesbury Avenue, with many of the most popular shows minutes away. We’ve also been recognised by The Infatuation as a top spot for a pre-theatre meal.
“Grasso is an Italian-American spot in Soho that serves a penne alla vodka that can turn a bad night around. It’s open from 12pm, so you can head there before your show, too. The crispy, face-sized chicken parm is juicy enough to make you forget you’ve got three hours of wizarding ‘fun’ ahead.”
