Infatuation rates Grasso 8 - here’s what it means

Infatuation reviewed us, and gave Grasso a great 8!

The American, New York-based restaurant recommendation website, The Infatuation has rated us with a ‘great’ 8, recommending us for Big Groups, Birthdays, Casual Dinners, and Date Nights. So, whether you’re having a party with friends, or celebrating a five year anniversary, Sinéad Cranna and the team reckon that a visit to Grasso should be in your plans.

Not only that, but an 8 means we should be on your must-try list, and we’re worth making an effort or crossing town for. And we’re thrilled to hear it!A run-down of five of The Infatuation’s favourite Italian-American dishes on our menu.

Mozzarella sticks

Our mozzarella sticks were recommended in the ‘The London Fried Cheesy Snack Power Rankings’, saying ‘The Italian-American spot in Soho has perfected the art of golden, extra crispy coating. And inside, the mozzarella is so molten and pliable that it’s capable of influencer-worthy cheese pulls’, following up with, ‘they have no business being this good.’

Penna alla vodka

They also ranked our pasta highly, and right at the top of their guide, ‘Where To Eat Great Pasta In London’, singling out our penne alla vodka as, ‘This should definitely be on your table. It’s rich and creamy, a little bit tangy, covered in a snowstorm of pecorino and a scattering of chilli, and the portion size is hefty.’

Lamb ragù rigatoni

Our rigatoni also received some kind words, with the team saying, ‘This is probably the most amount of braised, soft meat we’ve ever had in a pasta dish. We love the addition of salty, briny anchovy to balance all the richness too’, - much love!

Pizzas

They called our pizzas underrated, with a tangy dough and charred bubbles around the crust. That's our 48-hour fermented dough doing its job.

Tiramisu

Mamma makes every mouthful of every dessert at Grasso, so we were super relieved when she made the list of the best tiramisu in London.
