About Grasso
My maternal family, the Grassos, came from Syracuse, Sicily, before moving to New York and London in the middle of the last century.
At Grasso, our menu reflects this journey, and includes old country classics, and a selection of Little Italy favourites.
Our signature dish is spaghetti and meatballs — made to my mother’s original recipe. This was a favourite growing up as kids, when our mama, Anna would cook it up on birthdays and special occasions.
In addition to pasta and pizza, we serve a selection of mains which include chicken parm, juicy jumbo shrimp and a Caesar salad which we serve with either herb-crusted chicken or fried artichoke.
We’re fully licenced, serving cocktails, wine and beer (which is brewed by my old friend Boston Pete at Forest Road Brewery — not too far from Grasso), alongside a range of low and no alcohol drinks.
You can find us on 81 Dean Street, London, W1D 3SW — and the nearest Tube stations are Tottenham Court Road or Oxford Circus.
We’re currently open five days a week for lunch and dinner — but always double check for the most up-to-date times.
And if you’re wondering if we take bookings — then the answer is yes. The restaurant seats 180 diners over two floors.
That’s all the important info (I think), will update if there’s anything I’ve missed. I’ll be trying to post regular updates over on the blog, including any special dishes, or menus, in addition to playlists and photos.
So please keep coming back, give us a follow on the Grasso Instagram, and hopefully see you soon!
Ciao for now,
Seanie Grasso
