About Grasso

My maternal family, the Grassos, came from Syracuse, Sicily, before moving to New York and London in the middle of the last century.

At Grasso, our menu reflects this journey, and includes old country classics, dishes we grew up eating, and a selection of Little Italy favourites.

We’re a family business, and you’ll find my mother making the desserts and cooking the red sauce every morning, or one of my siblings helping out in the restaurant, or behind the scenes doing the social media and website.

And if you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll find photos of us dotted around the restaurant.

Grasso is in the centre of Soho, Central London.
Our address is 81 Dean Street, London, W1D 3SW.
Grasso serves Italian-American dishes, with popular favourites from both Sicily and New York.
We offer a range of options for vegetarians, and while it’s a bit more limited for those following a vegan or gluten-free diet, there are options available.
Please let us know when visiting the restaurant of any dietary requirements so we can accommodate you accordingly.
Our chicken is Halal, but we do have a number of non-Halal items on the menu.
Our allergens menu details all dishes with meat products.
Whether you’re flying solo, after a romantic meal for two, or a party for a larger group — we do take bookings!

The first floor dining area of Grasso is wheelchair accessible, and includes a wheelchair accessible lavatory.
We just ask to please add a note when making a booking.
