Seanie’s guide to Soho (via Hot Dinners)

Hot Dinners recently asked Seanie to feature in their My Manor series, where guests are asked to share their top five spots in their local area. Seanie’s been based in Soho for almost two decades, so the selection was ready to go!

Here’s what made the list:

Rovr Coffee, Richmond Buildings.

About ten steps from our front door, which is dangerous. You can find Seanie there mid-morning while the sauces are on. And they’ve got a decent record collection.

Dumpling’s Legend, Gerrard Street.

Seanie went through a stretch of eating here once a week. Same order every time, apparently. Everyone who works in Soho has their Chinatown place, and this is his (although you might also find him in Old Town 97 post 2am).

Gerry's Wines & Spirits, Old Compton Street.

If you know Soho, you know Gerry's. They've sorted us out with last-minute bottles and good advice more times than we'd like to admit, and Seanie's been going in since 2011.

Kiln, Brewer Street.

Sit at the counter, order too much, watch the kitchen work, and enjoy the selection of delicious dishes.

The Toucan, Carlisle Street.

A pint of Guinness outside the Toucan on a warm afternoon, Soho Square just there. That's it. That's the recommendation.
