Grasso review: FoodGuideLondon/ Brandiece

Huge thanks to Brandiece, AKA FoodGuideLondon, who recently came down to Dean Street, Soho to visit Grasso and try out some dishes from our menu. She then followed it up with a lovely review of Grasso on TikTok and Instagram.

Brandiece tried the mozzarella sticks, Mom’s Spaghetti, King Prawns, pizza, tiramisu, and cheese cake.

Brandiece said, “Everyones asking me to go since seeing @Eating with Tod post, ive already been to grasso in soho i went last week but i wasnt gonna post yet as i have a schedule but youre messaging me so much so heres my honest review! I loved it.”

Here’s Brandiece’s review of Grasso

“You're about to see this restaurant everywhere. Remember who's telling you first. It's called Grasso. It's in Soho on Dean Street. It's an American-Italian.

The owner Seanie’s mom is Sicilian, so, like, don't even come to me about this isn't authentic. I loved everything about this restaurant.

The burrata was bussin'. I took my daughter, she had to get the prawn cocktail. She loved it. Remember when everyone was making Gigi Hadid's pasta on TikTok? I didn't make it, 'cause I thought vodka in pasta's weird, like, I'm not doing that. So that's the first time I've actually had pasta alla vodka and, oh my God, I wanna make it every day. It's so good. Why didn't you tell me how good it was?

Also, the size of the portions are huge. Actually look at the size of the plate what the chicken parm was on. My daughter had that with spaghetti. The plate is bigger than her, like it's huge. I had these prawns. They were really nice, proper garlicky, chili. Loved 'em.

The menu's really affordable, and for the size of the portions, it's 100% worth it. We got a pizza to take away. They had massive meatballs on it. I really don't know why my daughter rolled that up like a burrito and ate that. Literally a pizza, weirdo. Did you actually just see my face?

I said to my daughter to take a video of me while I was drinking my coffee, and I saw the desserts coming, I was like, "No, my God." I don't even like dessert, and I couldn't have tiramisu 'cause I'm doing Dry Jan. But I wanted to have it. The cheesecake was banging. I really enjoyed this restaurant.

I'm definitely going back. Like, it's probably gonna be my go-to for something quick and fun while I'm in Soho.”

And finally, thanks to those who’ve left us a nice Grasso review on TripAdvisor!
